home sweet home

Did you know that the kiwi bird lays an egg approximately 1/4 the size of her body?
Or that the proceeds from the first performance of Handel’s Messiah freed 142 men from debtor’s prison?
Did you know that fractions taught in the kitchen taste like cookies?
And that salt comes in really handy for spelling?

  1. You were born to home school, girl! We took our daughter out of private school when she wasn’t thriving. Wouldn’t you know – a few months at home and I had a child who loved learning.

Just want you to be encouraged. Not every day will be roses. It’s not an easy path you’ve chosen – but the easy ones are never as rewarding, are they??

  2. I’m so sad–none of your pics will show up for me. However, I am so happy because I came over and saw the awesome Kiwi project! So I am going to pretend that you included a picture of that and I will use my imagination to picture the picture in my mind. 😀
